The effects of the pandemic have an impact on the automotive market in Romania. In March, there was a 32% decrease compared to the same month of the previous year, while the first quarter ended with a 22% decrease, according to the National Vehicle Registration (DRPCIV).

It was the weakest month in the last five years, with 6.654 registered cars. In the first three months of 2020, the number of new registered cars has reached 27.979 units, decreasing with 21% compared to the same period of 2019.
