According to the Directorate for Driving Licence and Vehicle Registration Regime (DRPCIV) and to the Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Romania (ACAROM), in November 2020 the number of new cars registered in Romania is approximately the same compared to the same month of 2019.
Last month there were 13.253 registered units, with a 1.24% increase compared to November 2019.
There were 110.377 new registered cars in Romania in the first 11 months of 2020, a 25.31% decrease compared to the previous year, where there were 147.789 registrations.
There was a decrease regarding the registration of second hand cars in the first 11 months of 2020 as well. This time, only a 9.6% decrease, meaning 370.871 units. In November, there was a 5.73% decrease compared to the similar month of the previous year.
Regarding the brands, Dacia is in the top, while Renault is on the first place as-to importing. All Top 5 brands registered a decrease compared to 2019, the most sharp being Ford’s, a 47% decrease.
