Remaining unoccupied after Alejandro Mesonero’s leave for Alfa Romeo, the post of director of design from Dacia will be taken by Miles Nürnberger, starting from 1st of September.

The Renault Group has announced that Nürnberger will take the function of director of design for Dacia, as well as for Lada, within a United Business coordinated by Denis Le Vot. Nürnberger will be subordinated to Laurens van den Acker, the design director for the whole Renault Group.

Born in 1976, Miles Nürnberger has obtained the diploma in Automotive Design at the University of Coventry. One of the most spectacular realizations of his career is the Design Award at Concorso d’Eleganza de la Villa d’Este, in 2009, for the Aston Martin One-77 concept.

The beginning of his career was related to Lincoln and Citroen. He is the one who designed the first generation of C3 Picasso.

In 2008, he came to Aston Martin Lagonda as design manager, then as creative director and, in 2018, as design director. His most important projects, carried out under his coordination, were the first SUV from Aston Martin, DBX, the hypercars Valkyrie, DBS Superleggera and the revival of Lagonda as a 100% electric car.
